Hi, I’m Lilly Gacuma.

My journey into birth and infant care began long before I had the words to call it a calling. From an early age, I found myself naturally drawn to all things birth, babies, and motherhood. The women in my life—across generations, backgrounds, and cultures—have deeply shaped the way I see motherhood and inspired me to continue learning, listening, and leaning into what would eventually become my purpose.

As a postpartum doula, I bring a grounding, intentional presence into a season of life that can feel beautiful, overwhelming, and unfamiliar all at once. I believe the fourth trimester is sacred. It is a time when mothers and birthing people deserve to feel cared for, reassured, and held in the same way they are learning to care for their new baby.

I became certified in postpartum and infant care through ProDoula, and my approach is rooted in evidence-based support, compassionate infant care, and mother-centered care. My goal is to quiet some of the noise, create space for rest and recovery, and help families feel confident as they find their own rhythm.

My Why

Supporting families is my passion, but supporting women lights a particular fire in me. I believe no parent should feel like they have to navigate those early months alone, and I feel incredibly honored to be invited into such an intimate and transformative chapter of a family’s life.

When I’m not caring for families, you’ll usually find me at the beach with a good book or on a basketball court with my son.

Being a postpartum doula is more than the work I do—it is the work I feel called to do. To help make the transition into parenthood feel a little softer, a little calmer, and a lot more supported is something I believe the world needs more of.
