Mothering the Mother

Hi! Im Lilly Gacuma

Welcome to The Aunty Co.

Postpartum support that cares for the whole family.

You spend so much time preparing for your baby’s arrival.

But who is caring for you once they’re here?

I’m Lilly, a certified postpartum and infant care doula serving families throughout San Diego and Orange County. I provide calm, compassionate, evidence-informed support during the fourth trimester and beyond—helping new parents rest, recover, gain confidence, and settle into life with their baby.

You Don’t Have to Do It Alone

The early days of parenthood can be beautiful, exhausting, and overwhelming—all at once. My role is to come alongside you with an extra set of hands, eyes, and ears when you need them most.

From overnight newborn care and feeding support to postpartum recovery, infant soothing, and practical guidance, I help lighten the load so you can focus on what matters most: healing, bonding, and getting to know your baby.

Overnight Postpartum Support

Nurturing, responsive infant care while you rest and recover

Newborn + Infant Care

Hands-on care, soothing, feeding, diapering, and observation of your baby’s individual rhythms.

Feeding + Nourish Support

Nonjudgmental support for breastfeeding, pumping, formula, or combination feeding

Recovery + Mother- Centered Care

Practical and emotional support that makes your recovery a priority.

Evidence-Based Guidance

Parenthood comes with an overwhelming amount of information and advice. I help quiet the noise by providing evidence-informed education and practical support while respecting your pediatrician’s recommendations and your family’s parenting philosophy.

Emotional + Practical Support

Sometimes you don’t need another person telling you what to do—you simply need someone beside you. I offer a calm, grounding presence, a listening ear, and an extra set of hands and eyes when things feel overwhelming. My goal is to help you feel more rested, confident, and supported as you find your rhythm.

care is never about creating a “perfect” routine

It’s about helping you and your baby feel safe, cared for and supported as you find what works best for you
